Q: Is my team accepted if I register and pay?
A: No, your team is not automatically accepted into the league if you register and pay. Teams will be notified of acceptance by January 20, 2020. SCNPL reserves the right to determine a team's participation level. Teams who are not accepted into the league will receive a refund.
Q: What gaming leagues are allowed to apply to SCNPL?
A: Coast Soccer League, SCDSL, and Presidio teams are all able to apply.
Q: What does it cost to register for SCNPL?
A: The league registration fee is $995 (referee fees not included). Referee fees are a separate cost to be paid at the field prior to the game.
Q: What age group does my team apply under?
A: All boys and girls age groups will play ber birth calendar year in line with the United States Soccer Federation mandate. We are accepting applications for 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, and 2002/2001 age groups. Please note the 2002/2001's are a combined age group.
Q: Can I play SCNPL games with Cal South cards?
A: No. SCNPL teams must register all players with US Club Soccer and obtain US Club player and coach passes.
Q: What are the referee fees for this season?
A: 70 min games (2007-2006) = $67/team
80 min games (2005-2004) = $76/team
90 min games (2003-2002/2001) = $85/team
Q: What are the season play dates?
A: The tentative 2020 dates are: March 7-8, March 14-15, March 21-22, March 28-29, April 4-5, April 11, April 18-19, April 25-26, May 2-3 May 9 and May 16-17. Every effort will be made to avoid scheduling conflicts with National Cup. All other potential conflicts with your team will need to requested off in your Got Soccer application.
Q: Is my team able to request dates off if we are unavailable to play?
A: Yes, your team is able to request 4 dates off when registering. Please make sure to include these dates in Got Soccer when completing the registration process. All schedule requests must be received by Friday, January 20, 2020. Any requests received after the deadline, may not be accommodated.
Q: What venues will games be played at?
A: Games will mostly be played at San Bernardino Soccer Complex & OC Great Park.
Q: What age groups are allowed to register?
A: We are accepting applications for 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, & 2002/2001 age groups. The 2002/2001 age group is combined.
Q: My team is from Las Vegas. Can I play home games?
A: Teams from Las Vegas are able to play home games when playing against another Las Vegas team. All other games vs. Southern California teams will be played in Southern California.
